What Are Binaural Beats and Isochronic Tones

Whilst these three words might sound completely alien, they are actually reasonably simple to understand in principle. They can get quite complex when you delve into the science of them, but you don’t need to worry about that, all you need to worry about is results. Fortunately, that’s what these beats are all about, they give you an incredibly powerful path to self-hypnosis and significantly changing your own mindset. The possibilities are almost limitless once you have learned how to use self-hypnosis to your advantage, so let’s take a look at each of these types individually:

  1. Binaural Beats -  Binaural beats are perhaps the most historic of the three. They have been part of stringent scientific research for more than 170 years, and continue to raise intriguing questions. Your brain operates on a variety of different frequency cycles throughout the day, what cycle will depend on things like your mood or your state of consciousness. These frequencies can actually be altered in order to change your state, and this is what binaural beats aim to do. A binaural beat is effectively a broadcast of two separate frequencies, one going into each ear. Your brain will then tune to the frequency that represents the difference between the two. For example, by broadcasting 170 Hz into your right ear, and 180 Hz into your left ear, the brain would tune to a frequency of 10 Hz. This ability to change your mind is hugely powerful, and extremely useful in self-hypnosis.
  2. Monaural Beats – Monaural beats are slightly easier for the brain to handle, as it is not required to produce a frequency that is the difference between those being broadcast into your ears. Since there is no need for a balancing of the tones that you are hearing, your brain has less work to do. These beats simply broadcast a single frequency that pulsates in a particular pattern. Monaural beats are often considered to be superior to Binaural Beats because they are a more advanced, targeted, method of altering your mind’s state.
  3. Isochronic Tones – Isochronic Tones are arguably the most powerful of the three. They offer a stronger method of tapping into the brain by generating a frequency with an increased pulse speed to that of Monaural Beats. The sound waves on an Isochronic Tone are much cleaner and more uniform to that of a Monaural Beat, so are said to harmonize better with your mind.

By using one of these three methods, or a combination of them, you can program your mind using subliminal hearing devices. They are an extremely powerful tool to have in your arsenal, and are becoming more popular by the day. There are a huge number of possibilities when you use these methods, and you can program your mind in a number of different ways; they are definitely worth exploring if you are interested in self improvement.
